PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP SuccessFactors provides the industry leading cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) software solutions using the Software as a Service (SaaS) model. The SuccessFactors HCM Suite includes a complete set of tightly integrated talent management solutions, robust workforce analytics, and planning, plus a next-generation core HR solution. With over 3600 customers and more than twenty million users in 177 countries, SuccessFactors HCM Software is the most adopted Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business software in the world.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Design and develop cloud tenant management applications used for data management within and health monitoring of customer instance(s) for the HCM Cloud Suite. These tools are part of the HCM Cloud Platform and are used for enabling expert self-service for the cloud customer.
Drive best practices and engineering excellence
Development of code in object-oriented Java
Define, develop, and manage the whole process of a project for partner integration, and engaging individuals across various departments or organizations to resolve problems
Work jointly with product management and customer support teams to ensure business requirements and feature expectations are clearly communicated
Prioritize requirements, and communicate to senior management the present status and future direction of the product and integration strategy.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
BE/Btech/Mtech/MCA( full -time) from Premier Universities with 65% and above throughout education.
Expertise in Java/JEE web application development
Expertise in any database preferably Oracle – Complex SQL, Procedures, functions, triggers, views, query tuning, execution plans, indexes etc. HANA DB expertise is added plus
Expertise in Spring 3.0 , REST, ORM frameworks like Hibernate
Proficiency in oData API’s or any web API’s
Proficiency in OOAD, design patterns, anti-patterns
Should be exposed to application profiling and identifying and addressing of performance bottlenecks
Should independently deliver scoped features, identify technical and mitigate technical risks
Exposure to SaaS, multi-tenancy
Participate in critical customer/production escalations
Should be a quick learner and keen on learning new technologies
Should be a fantastic team player, collaborator and Mentor junior team members
Thorough understanding of HTTP protocol including cookies, session persistence
6 - 9 years of relevant hands-on experience in full development life cycle software development.
Specializes in Java/JEE web application development and formulates best practices
Technical leadership, introducing new technologies
Experience in performance improvement strategies
Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS web applications
Ability to work independently or work with 4-5 junior engineers
Keen on attention to details
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Exposure to the Agile process, Scrum desired
