Job Overview:

Manage remote implementations of SAP Concur’s Standard Expense service and extended services for North America based clients. Manage complete implementations project lifecycle within aggressive timeframe while consistently delivering exceptional levels of work quality & client satisfaction. This position will be based out of SAP Concur’ s Bangalore office and requires working hours & days aligned to support North America based clients.


  • Schedule and conduct client project calls: - Sample client calls given below, miscellaneous calls might be added

  • Configuration call: review timelines and key milestones, provide consultation on set up of Expense service via the Setup Wizard, provide access to Deployment Toolkit, facilitate processing of appropriate system setup forms and address questions

  • Workflow call: review submission, approval and accounting processes and Processor and Payment Manager tools

  • Administrative call: review Company Card Admin & SAP Concur Reporting tools, provide Reporting & Support registration assistance

  • Manage multiple simultaneous implementations, ensuring timelines are met and issues are addressed while adhering to SAP Concur’ s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Escalate issues to designated team contacts and/or cross-functional teams in a timely manner to ensure implementation issues are addressed early

  • Handhold the clients through various stages of the project, and transition to support organization

  • Communicate Project status to Implementation Services Managers & Client executives

  • Provide consultative expertise to the client, including guiding clients through key decisions and tradeoffs to maintain project scope and timeline

  • Develop and maintain strong functional and technical product knowledge

  • Quickly ramp-up on new releases and product functionality to ensure successful implementation of these features for clients

  • Detail all implementation activities in internal tracking tools in a timely manner

  • Meet or exceed deployment productivity and quality metrics

  • Position Requirements

Education, Experience & Training:

  • Three or four-year degree, preferably in accounting or information systems / financial background

  • Experience on SAP Concur products or SAAS Implementation preferred

  • Previous experience in a role managing projects & interacting with clients on implementations / project management

  • Full life-cycle financial implementation experience preferred

  • Proven ability to comfortably discuss accounting and financial concepts with clients, including executives

  • Proven ability to foster internal/external relationships, overcome objections and motivate clients

  • Strong problem-solving, communication and client management skills

Job Specific Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to interact, understand & consult with clients

  • Ability to comfortably strike a conversation with clients over phone and make rapport

  • Excellent organization, planning and project management skills

  • Familiarity with financial, HR and payroll systems a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts quickly

  • Accounting industry background desired

  • Strong knowledge of software & technology, specifically around web technology, financial system integration & Excel a strong plus

  • Strong trouble-shooting skills/problem solving skills - ability to critically analyze issues and develop creative solutions

  • Ability to be self-directed and work independently

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload

Working hours:

  • 45 hours per week will typically be necessary to accomplish performance objectives and to provide satisfactory job presence and/or responsiveness

  • Flexibility in working hours is required as position is for NA team and will require the person to work in Night shift (US Shift).
