JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for an exceptional, innovative and results oriented sales enablement leader to develop, deliver and drive flagship enablement programs that accelerate partner sales performance, ultimately driving customer pipeline and bookings.

The candidate’s primary responsibility will be to define, develop and execute a partner enablement strategy that is focused on sales excellence. In this capacity, the individual will work with different functional teams across both SAP and SAP Ariba – Global Sales Enablement Org, Partner Enterprise Alliances Team, Partner Edge, SAP Education, Global Partner Demo Team, P&I, etc. – to build a holistic, multi-faceted partner sales enablement program.

The Sr. Director, Partner Sales Enablement will be responsible for ensuring successful regional adoption of the enablement programs, with an emphasis on learning map/curriculum development, PE authorization, virtualization/scalability, and industry best practices. The role will report to the VP of Partner Programs & Operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute enablement program frameworks that include curriculum, experience, and engagement tied to business impact metrics.

  • Provide programmatic oversight/structure and ensure cross-functional alignment on program initiatives.

  • Partner with Regional Partner Enablement Program Mgrs to ensure global sales enablement strategy is executed, as part of a holistic enablement framework.

  • Work with the Global Sales Enablement Org and extended learning teams to gather requirements and feedback to continually optimize and expand enablement program(s) that support an end to end Partner Sales Journey.

  • Collaborate with extended teams that support designing, delivering and executing a world class Partner Sales Enablement program.

  • Develop and execute communication plans to support program rollouts and ongoing program execution.

  • Work with 3 rd parties as needed to help develop content, assessments, programs, etc.

  • Evaluate training curriculum effectiveness and propose adjustments or new curriculum additions as needed.

  • Actively research and recommend innovative training tools and technologies to deliver cutting edge design solutions.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree in Business/Learning or related field or equivalent practical experience. Masters degree a plus.

  • 7 years learning experience, specifically in support of an enterprise partner organization/LOB. Demonstrated results in implementing successful programs including needs analysis, development, implementation and evaluation of wide range of training curricula, preferably in a SaaS environment.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Independent thinker with desire to develop and execute new programs, and make them his/her own.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to consult/drive alignment with stakeholders.

  • Experience driving sales enablement programs, with an emphasis on partners.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple learning projects simultaneously.

  • Sales acumen and experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts concisely and clearly.

  • Deep knowledge of current and emerging adult learning theory and how it is put into practice in corporate learning.

  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate across all functional levels with business leaders and subject matter experts.

  • Creative, practical problem-identification/solving skills, including the application of those skills to design and development of the final learning product.

  • Team player with a positive attitude, flexibility, sense of urgency, and willingness to do whatever is needed to achieve goals and have fun at the same time.
