Purpose & Objectives

The DBS India Management Internal Consultant – Business Excellence is responsible for daily functions to support the Head of India Digital Business Services and his management office serving as a strategist, consultant and executor. The qualified candidate will ensure streamlined activities within the organization are aligned with the overall business framework and coordinate the execution and completion of strategic initiatives. He/she will interact with senior management and work hand-in-hand with local, regional and global teams. He/she will facilitate discussions and synthesize information into high quality and actionable recommendations. The candidate will have the ability to work with a variety of teams, have a broad skillset and be flexible to take on ad-hoc projects with speed and skill. The role is critical in driving the ongoing agenda of the management office.

The Internal Consultant will also be responsible for guiding SAP customers through their digital journey, embracing the mission of Digital Business Services to lead servitization globally in the new digital economy. To achieve this, DBS have set 3 main priorities:

1) Move customers to the Cloud

2) Realize the digital enterprise

3) Help our customers establish S/4HANA as their digital core.

As the Business Excellence consultant, he/she will play an instrumental role in revenue process excellence, business support and driving regional initiates and programs for India MU.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant professional degree– Management degree Is preferred

• Profound knowledge of the Microsoft office and relevant experience.

• strong analytical, and conceptual skills

• Pro-active driver, team-player, results-oriented, with a can-do attitude

• Strong business and commercial acumen

• Works, collaborates and influences key stakeholders across organizational layers

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English

EXPECTATIONS and Tasks

  • Over all monitoring of Order to Cash process, driving process excellence, identifying the gaps and ensuring the gaps are plugged in, for example in area of contracts, sales allowance, billing, AR etc.

  • Business planning activities working in conjunction with finance and business operations

  • Drive adequate cost measures to drive profitability and regular monitoring and management of P&L.

  • Active support in customer engagement in collaboration with GCO/DBS Services Delivery.

  • Bringing out insights and Data analysis from revenue and margin reporting.

  • Responsible for driving cadence, rolling out programs and initiatives for India MU with the help of business stakeholder.

  • Instil a visionary and innovative culture while bringing new and forward thinking ideas to the business

  • Align specific topics with regional and local team

  • Act as central contact person for all SAP Services -internal groups for India MU

  • Resolving issues with some complexity with limited guidance

  • Developing collaborative work relationships within own team and cross-functional, including representation of team towards senior management

  • Supporting internal projects, including decision taking within clearly defined framework of departmental guidelines and practices

  • Supporting knowledge sharing within the team and prepares decision taking

  • Proactive and able to identify and solve problems

  • Managing controlling and reporting activities on behalf of manager, e.g. creation, staffing and reporting on internal orders, reporting on cost centers and profit centers, creation and maintenance of C-Users

  • Monitoring budget.

  • Execute quarterly leadership meetings including planning, agenda development and management

  • Plan and manage bi-weekly leadership meetings

  • Own strategic projects as defined by leadership

  • Manage preparation of Board-level meetings and reports

  • Plan and execute market unit business reviews

  • Take an active role in organizational management and changes

  • Manage executive presence and follow-up for defined strategic customers

  • Manage organizational handbook including management of organizational charts

  • Lead/take active role in change management initiatives

  • Identify risks and possible solutions and assist in decision making
